ACPTMD Terms and conditions and constitution

1. Introduction

Welcome to the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Temporomandibular disorders (hereinafter referred to as ACPTMD) website. By accessing this website and/or becoming a member, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

2. Membership Information

  1. Membership Registration: By registering as a member, you agree to provide accurate and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.
  2. Personal Information Collection: We collect personal information such as name, contact details, and professional information for membership purposes. This data will be stored securely and used for ACPTMD related communications. We may share information with researchers who seek to access membership for research studies. The ACPTMD will only do this if the research has been reviewed by our Research Officer and deemed appropriate.
  3. Membership renewal will be on a yearly basis from the initial joining date. The membership payment will be taken automatically, but if it has not been recieved within one month, access to the membership only area of the Website will be removed together with registration of the ‘Find a practitioner’ page.

  1. Use of Personal Information: Personal information collected during membership registration or correspondence will only be used for ACPTMD-related purposes and will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent, except as required by law.
